“Fantastic company! Jack was honest, professional and extremely knowledgeable. He explained everything that was wrong in great detail. Will definitely be calling him for any future plumbing needs.”
Clover's Go-To Plumber for Fast Repairs
Clover is the most rural part of our service area, and that changes the plumbing. Well water and septic systems are the norm on properties outside town, and both need a plumber who works with them regularly rather than one who mostly sees municipal supply and city sewer.
In town, the older housing around downtown has the age you would expect — original supply and waste in a good number of properties.
About 35 minutes from our Fort Mill shop
Where we work in Clover
Downtown Clover, Bethany, Bethel and the Highway 55 corridor. Covering ZIP code 29710.
Well water
Iron staining, sulphur smell, sediment and hardness are all common on Clover wells and all treatable — but only once tested. We test free, and if the numbers say your water needs nothing, that is what we will tell you. We also service pressure tanks, well pumps and the plumbing side of the system.
Septic systems
A slow fixture on a septic property is a different diagnosis from the same symptom on city sewer. We handle everything from the house to the tank, and we will say plainly when the problem is in the tank or the drain field rather than in the house — so you are not paying us to chase something outside our scope.
Older downtown homes
Galvanised supply, cast-iron waste and clay laterals. Diagnosed with a camera and a pressure gauge before anything is quoted.
Newer subdivisions
Standard new-build and 2000s-subdivision items: water heaters at end of life, failed PRVs, workmanship faults.
We do come out here
Clover is about 35 minutes from the shop and it is a normal part of our week. You will get a real arrival window.
What the housing here is like
A small historic town with genuinely old housing, surrounded by rural properties on well and septic. Newer subdivisions are filling in toward Lake Wylie.

“This company was recommended by a neighbor and I could not be more happy with the service they provided! When we realized we had a semi serious water heater problem, Open Water Plumbing was very responsive, not only with calls and text to help me ensure the problem did not get worse but also made it a priority to get to our home to repair the issue the next day. I would happily use them again, and the price was extremely reasonable! 5 star!”
“Jacek installed my outdoor built in kitchen, unclogged my toilet (my daughter flushed down a plastic bottle) and he finished a couple other small jobs for me. He was always on time. Very easy to work with. Even if you think something is not possible, better call him first, I am pretty sure he will find the solution.”
Clover plumbing questions
Do you work on well systems?
Yes — pressure tanks, well pumps and the plumbing side of the system, plus water treatment. We test your water free before recommending any equipment, and sometimes the answer is that you do not need any.
Can you help with septic problems?
We handle everything from the house to the tank. When the problem is in the tank or the drain field we will tell you straight, so you are not paying us to work outside where the fault is.
Do you actually come out to Clover?
Yes — about 35 minutes from our Fort Mill shop, and it is a regular part of our week rather than an occasional trip.
