Faucet & Fixture Installation for South Charlotte Homeowners

A faucet swap looks like a twenty-minute job right up until the shutoff under the sink will not close, the supply lines are the old rigid type, or the new fixture has a different hole configuration than the one coming out. That is the difference between a fixture that is installed and a fixture that is installed properly.

What we fit

Kitchen faucets and pot fillers, lavatory and vessel faucets, wall-mounted and widespread sets, shower and tub valves and trim, bidet seats, laundry and utility taps, outdoor hose bibs and frost-free sillcocks, garbage disposals, filtered drinking water taps and instant hot water dispensers.

The parts nobody quotes for

We replace the angle stops as standard rather than trusting a valve that has not moved in fifteen years, and we fit new braided supply lines. Both are inexpensive, and both are the components that turn into a flooded cabinet later. If the deck has a different hole spacing we sort the escutcheon or the deck plate rather than leaving a gap.

Bring your own, or let us spec it

If you have already bought the fixture, send us the model number before we come out — we check it against your existing rough-in so nothing is unboxed and then found to be wrong. If you would rather we specified it, we install every major brand and are trained on Moen, Delta and the rest, which is what makes a warranty claim in year three a phone call rather than an argument.

Tested before we leave

Every installation is run under pressure, checked for drips at every joint, and the cabinet is dried and inspected before we pack up. Aerators flushed, handles aligned, and the packaging taken away with us.

Questions

Faucet & Fixture Installation — questions we get asked

Can I supply my own faucet?

Yes, and plenty of our customers do. Send us the model number before the visit so we can confirm it matches your existing rough-in and hole spacing — that one check prevents most of the problems we see.

Why do you replace the shutoff valves as well?

Because a shutoff that has not moved in fifteen years is the part most likely to fail, and it fails by not closing when you need it to. Replacing it costs very little while the cabinet is already open, and it is what makes the next repair a simple one.

Can you change a shower valve without retiling?

Often yes — a trim swap within the same brand and valve family needs no tile work at all. A different valve type means opening the wall, and we can frequently do that from the back in a closet or the adjacent room instead of through the tile. We check before quoting.
